The School Tour
We take our school tour into elementary schools across Alabama, so every kid hears somebody say “I got you,” and learns how to say it back.

Help Our Cause
Schools never pay for a visit. Our sponsors and our donors are the reason we can walk into the next gym, and the one after that. Your gift puts us in front of another room full of kids.
Donations are tax deductible.
About Us
Our mission, our vision, and the person who started it.
To combat bullying by raising awareness and empowering youth, schools, and communities through the transformative power of arts and entertainment.
To empower the youth to grow in confidence through innovative programs that harness the power of music and dance.
Our Founder
Barbie Perry is a devoted wife and mother of five who brings almost 30 years of experience in building children’s self-esteem. Passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth, she harnesses the power of the arts as a strategy to combat bullying, transforming and empowering young lives.
Her mission is to inspire kids to rise as confident leaders and positive role models within their communities.
In the News
In Schools
The School Tour
A free assembly for elementary students, built on music, movement, and one idea that outlasts the twenty minutes we are in the building.
The Chant
Four lines and one hand signal, and a whole gym on their feet.
It starts with music and it gets loud. By the time we leave, the whole room has something they can carry into the hallway, the lunchroom, and the bus line.
Kids walk out with a chant, a hand signal, and a sticker. What they really walk out with is the habit of noticing somebody who could use one.
We never charge a school a fee. Our sponsors and our annual fundraiser cover every visit.

Our Tenth Year
The 10th Annual Bama Against Bullying Fashion Show Fundraiser was more than a night of fashion. It was a celebration of courage, confidence, kindness, and community.
Our talent took the runway and reminded us exactly why this mission matters: every child deserves to feel seen, supported, valued, and empowered to use their voice.
Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, families, talent, and community partners who helped make our 10th year so meaningful.

Nick’s Kids is happy to support Barbie’s efforts to go into schools and arm our children with techniques to stand up against bullying.

“My teenage daughter was in the hospital because she was a victim of bullying. After she got out, she met Mrs. Perry and realized she was not alone. She got to stand on that stage and inspire others as well. Very grateful for BAB!”
“Bama Against Bullying has given my child, and children of all ages, the know-how and strength to recognize and stand up to bullying. Rather than simply talking to children, BAB connects with them through fashion, music, dance, and most importantly, inclusion.”
