Ella Birdsong has been a proud part of Bama Against Bullying for more than seven years, growing from a young participant in our programs into one of our strongest student leaders. As a State Ambassador, Ella uses her voice, confidence, and compassion to uplift students across Alabama and remind them that kindness is powerful and standing up for others matters.
Ella is also the founder of Beyond the Bully, an initiative dedicated to empowering young people to rise above bullying, build confidence, and know their worth. Beyond the Bully served as her platform during her journey to becoming 3rd Runner-Up at the 2026 Miss Alabama’s Teen competition, giving her an even greater opportunity to advocate for bullying prevention and youth empowerment.
Through Bama Against Bullying, Ella supports our annual Fashion Show Fundraiser and is excited to take an even more active role this year as we bring our I GOT YOU Campaign directly into schools across Alabama. Ella plans to visit more schools, connect with students face-to-face, and encourage them to stand up for one another, choose kindness, and be the person who can say, “I got you.”
With more than seven years of involvement, her Beyond the Bully initiative, and a genuine heart for service, Ella represents what it means to turn passion into purpose. She is honored to serve as a State Ambassador and continues to help us build a safer, kinder Alabama one school and one student at a time.
